Located in the town of Winchester, some 25 miles north of Front Royal, this museum comprises an 18th-century house museum filled with period furnishings, a 6-acre garden and a multimedia museum that delves into the valley's history. Admission on Wednesday is free, and Wednesday hours are extended to 8pm from late May to early September.
