Welcome to Charlotteville
A delightful fishing village, Charlotteville nestles around the aquamarine Man of War Bay, a short walk from glorious Pirate's Bay beach. This secluded town accepts its trickle of off-the-beaten-track tourists with mostly jovial spirits and occasionally apathy. It's more lively than nearby Speyside, and tourist services include a sprinkling of places to stay and eat, and an ATM. This may all change, though, when the construction of a large new beach facility smack in the middle of the village's bayside main street is finally completed; local opposition has seen the works stalled for some time, however, and it's unclear as to whether it will ever be opened.
