Welcome to Santa Maria del Camí
Santa Maria del Camí is a gateway to Mallorca’s wine country and is home to one of the island's biggest names in wine, Bodegas Macià Batle. It's an attractive little town, with a couple of pretty squares, but it's not exactly exciting. If you’re coming from Palma, as you roll into town the Ma13a widens to become the bar-lined Plaça dels Hostals, often populated by flocks of refuelling cyclists. Hidden away in narrow stone streets just south of this is the original heart of Santa Maria del Camí, the Plaça de la Vila. This quiet medieval square is presided over by the 17th-century Casa de la Vila (Town Hall).
