Playa de Alojera

La Gomera

Jagged cliffs, rock formations and natural pools offshore lend a sense of drama to Alojera's sweeping, rarely crowded silty black beach, 1.5km west of town. Though no secret, it's ideal for swimming when there’s no swell (but if a big swell is running, keep well away from the water). It's backed by a cluster of white houses and apartments.
