About 5km west from Borobudur Temple is this enchanting cafe set inside a restored 200-year-old Javanese house with rustic-chic furniture in keeping with its lovely rural atmosphere. It's best known for its nasi campur (rice with a choice of side dishes), featuring a pleasing array of beef rendang, fried chicken, tuna sate, tempeh and vegetables. The pizzas are also popular.

If you enjoy the chilled-out vibe here, check out the lovely room (double 250,000Rp, including breakfast) around the back with colourful bedspread, crate furniture and cool outdoor bathroom.
