Dusk by Koza

Top choice in Göreme

Sip sunset cocktails while taking in the best view in town. Tamer and Lisa have created Göreme's most chilled-out, intimate summer drinking spot on the top two terraces at Koza Cave Hotel. The cocktails (₺60 to ₺65) play with local flavours from a Turkish delight mojito to a fig old-fashioned, and there's craft beer (₺30) including the excellent Frederik IPA.

A tapas-style menu of small bites was in the works when we were last there so you may soon be able to munch on popcorn chicken, meze dips and feta-smothered fries while you soak up the views.

Note, as the bar is outdoors, it doesn't open when it rains. If in any doubt, ring beforehand before heading up the hill.
