The converted hanok that houses this chic bistro in the revamped old neighbourhood of Ikseon-dong is Korean, but the dishes are contemporary European. Excellent scorched prawn risotto is served on bright metal plates to match the sleek copper furniture. Fusion touches are seen in seafood pasta with chillis from Cheongyang. Good-value weekday set lunches include a main, salad and drink.
From the subway exit, walk north into the opposite street into Ikseon-dong to the end. Look for its logo – a silhouette of a man in a tall hat.
