At Hotel Doolin, relative newcomer Fitz's has trad sessions twice nightly from April to October and at least three times a week from November to March. Sample its superb whiskey selection, fine craft beers and ciders, or own-brewed Dooliner beer.
Bar food (mains €9 to €24) is first rate. Ingenious cocktails include MV Plassy on the Rocks, named after the Aran Islands shipwreck, a Burren martini and a Father Jack Espresso (in honour of the cantankerous priest from Father Ted).
