Hostel Pod Voglom

Lake Bohinj

Bohinj's lively, well-run hostel, 1.5km west of Ribčev Laz on the road to Ukanc, is a hive of activity – and a hub for activities. There are big grounds, and 130 beds in two buildings: the 'hostel' building has rooms and dorms (maximum four beds), all with shared facilities; rooms in the annexe have private bathrooms.

Note: there's no kitchen, but cheap dinners (€9.50) are available. Guests get discounts with PAC Sports, which is based here. It's popular with sports groups and school groups.
