Hostal Peregrino Consulado

Top choice in Havana

Pediatrician Julio Roque and his wife, Elsa, have expanded their formerly two-room casa particular into a web of accommodations. The HQ, Hostal Peregrino, offers five rooms and three attached apartments a block from Paseo de Martí and is one of the most professionally run private houses in Cuba.

Airport pickup, breakfast, laundry service and cocktail bar are available at extra cost, but Julio, Elsa and staff will provide you with a wealth of local information and tips free of charge. The family offers two other places to stay, one in Habana Vieja and the other in Calle Lealtad. They're all bookable through the same number.
