West Cornwall Covered Bridge

Connecticut

You'll want to venture down to the river's edge to photograph this quaint covered bridge, built in 1864 and famed for allowing the passengers of horse-drawn carriages to have a moment of sheltered canoodling, which earned it the nickname 'Kissing Bridge.' This is one of two covered bridges in the state you can drive across; the other, Bull's Bridge, is just 17 miles south, in Kent.
