Altmann & Kühne

Vienna

This small, charming shop is the flagship of century-old chocolatier Altmann & Kühne, which produces handmade chocolates and sweets. It's located behind a modernist facade designed by Josef Hoffmann, a founding member of the visual arts collective Wiener Werkstätte. Hoffmann also designed the interior as well as the iconic packaging: miniature hat boxes, luggage trunks, glass cabinets, bookshelves and baroque buildings.
