Murray Hotel

Hong Kong

The hottest new hotel opening in Hong Kong in 2018 was the Murray – a magnificent reinvention of a 1960s government office block beside Hong Kong Park. The building has distinctive deep-set angled windows that were a pioneering sustainability feature (designed to reduce solar heating) of the original architecture plans. Inside, the 336-room Niccolo hotel incorporates stone, glass, leather, wood and stainless steel into contemporary design.

There are also bars and restaurants at garden level and on the rooftop terrace, an indoor lap pool and a spa.
