The Sacred Valley

These clear capsules clinging to the rock face high above the Urubamba Valley draw plenty of curiosity. They are essentially bolted-in bivvies, spruced up with beds and shared bathrooms with composting toilets. Three rooms house four people each, with dinner and breakfast (cooked by your burly guides) served in the main tent.

Get here by the vía ferrata and return to earth via rappel. Obviously, bringing your wheeled luggage is out. With a 2pm Cuzco pickup and a 9am return. It's run by Natura Vive.
