It is run by Lan fan taal (https://lanfantaal.com), a cultural organisation that promotes both Frisian and new experiences in diverse languages. When exiting the bookshop, look for the giant exclamation mark – made up of hundreds of social-media posts from Friesland in dozens of different languages – emblazoned on the side of the building.
