Shangbala Hotel

Lhasa

This tour-group blockhouse was recently renovated to include a blindingly golden lobby. Rooms are comfortable and clean, though the glass bathroom partitions can be a bit revealing unless you and your roommate are close. The luxury rooms are worth the extra cost. The central location is unbeatable.
