Good Times Resort

Kanchanaburi

The road here doesn't inspire confidence, but get past the car park and you'll find a palm-lined, riverside oasis. Ample rooms flooded with natural light and attractively flecked with colour surround the pool and garden and the good restaurant (mains 100B to 350B) is right at the river. Beaming staff are always around to assist. The 1500B rooms are a little overpriced.

The in-house travel agency is a good option for tours.
