Guppy's

Tampa Bay

For variety, quality and price, it's hard to beat Guppy's, which packs diners in nightly. Preparations are diverse, skillfully spanning styles (and budgets), from ocean-raised, garlicky cobia to Kona-coffee-dusted deep-sea scallops. Guppy's doesn't take reservations for parties of five or fewer, but its 'call-ahead seating' gets your name on the wait list an hour before arrival.

The managers and wait staff here could not be nicer people.
