Blue Mountains Deluxe Small-Group Eco Wildlife Tour from Sydney

Our first stop of the day is at Calmsley Hill a working farm also home to Kangaroos, Emus, Wombats and Koalas. Enjoy morning tea and time to wander at leisure. Departing from Calmsley Hill, we commence our drive to the Blue Mountains via the highway. You will visit one of a range of stunning outlooks over the Jamison Valley to take in the spectacular views. Where possible this will be away from the crowds of tours that visit the mountains each day, thus guests will enjoy a stress free experience taking in the views and information imparted by your guide.   Next, arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout point away from the crowds for views of the famous 3 Sisters. The character of the Three Sisters changes throughout the day and throughout the seasons as the sunlight brings out the magnificent colors. Here your guide will discuss the legends behind this famous rock formation and time available for you to take some great photo’s. After Eaglehawk Lookout, travel around the mountain to the village of Blackheath and our lunch venue the Boiler House Café at Hydro Majestic. Here enjoy a 2 course lunch food only. All diets are catered for. (except Kosher) Beverages can be purchased at your own expense from the Bar. This afternoon is spent visiting a selection of lookouts. Once you clap your eyes on the view from Govetts Leap you’ll know why it’s one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. The magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff.  The last stop is at the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens where we stop to enjoy the sweeping views across to Sydney before travelling down the Bells Line of Road to arrive back at your hotel approximately 4.30 - 5.00pm.

(Lunch own cost today).   DAY 2 BLUE MOUNTAINS - SYDNEY (L)A leisurely morning to relax in the Blue Mountains. You are collected from your hotel accommodation approximately 11.00 – 11.30am to re-join the tour group.  We then make our way around the mountain towards the village of Blackheath and our lunch venue the Hydro Majestic - Boiler House Café. Here in this relaxed venue with stunning views. We enjoy a 2 course lunch, food only.  All diets are catered for (excluding Kosher Meals).  Beverages can be purchased at your own expense from the Bar. After lunch we visit Govetts Leap, one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. The magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff.  Our last stop at the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens where there’s time for a short inspection of the flora including the ancient Wollemi Pine (Wollemia Nobilis).From here we commence our return to Sydney to arrive back at your hotel approximately 4.30 - 5.00pm.

Private Tour: Blue Mountains and Jenolan Caves Day Trip from Sydney

After morning pickup at your hotel in the Sydney central business district by your private driver-guide, your day trip begins with the drive to Featherdale Wildlife Park. Relax on the journey in a sedan, 4-wheel-drive vehicle, or minivan, depending on the size of your party. One of the best wildlife parks in Sydney, Featherdale is home to kangaroos, which you can feed under supervision, as well as more than 2,000 other animals including koalas, crocodiles, Tasmanian devils, wombats, and fairy penguins. After your visit, continue your tour by crossing the picturesque Nepean River and traveling along Western Mountain Highway via the sleepy towns of Blaxland, Leura, and Wentworth.
