Welcome to Monte Tronador & Pampa Linda
Two dusty, single-lane roads lead into the heart of Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi. Worth at least a day of your time, Pampa Linda is reachable via a particularly scenic stretch of road that skirts the shores of Lago Mascardi and leads on to the spectacular Ventisquero Negro and the base of Monte Tronador (3554m). Visitors are rewarded with views of dozens of waterfalls plunging over the flanks of extinct volcanoes en route. Pampa Linda is the starting point for nine hikes of varying length and difficulty.
