The least charming of the Walt Disney World® theme parks, Hollywood Studios offers none of the nostalgic charm of Magic Kingdom, sophisticated delights of Epcot or kitschy fun of Animal Kingdom. It's meant to conjure the heydays of Hollywood, with a replica of Graumann's Chinese Theatre (the main focal icon) and Hollywood Brown Derby, but most of the attractions reflect unabashed 21st-century energy. Young future Jedi line up to prepare for Star Wars Jedi Training and souvenirs from Frozen line store shelves.
Make a right onto Sunset Blvd to hit the roller coasters, Beauty and the Beast show and Fantasmic (a nighttime spectacular).
You might not need a whole day here – come first thing in the morning, linger for lunch and then take off to relax by the pool or, if you have a Park Hopper ticket, stroll or catch a boat over to Epcot's World Showcase for the afternoon.
