    Théâtre National Tunisien Le 4ème Art

    Built as a cinema but now functioning as an intimate theatre space, this is the epicentre of Tunis' cultural scene. Home of the Théâtre National Tunisien (Tunisian National Theatre), it hosts performances of theatre, dance and music. The cafe Cercle des Amis du Théâtre National in its foyer is a popular meeting place and has occasional free performance events.

    Le Boeuf sur le Toit

    Out in the suburb of La Soukra, 'the bull on the roof' is a restaurant with three main spaces: one hosts live acts, one is dedicated to dancing, and the third is a terrace bar and lounge. All serve food. It hosts regular DJs and live gigs. The name references a surrealist ballet.
