5-Day Best of Scotland Experience from Glasgow

On day one we’ll head west through the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and on towards Kilmartin Glen. You’ll get lost in Scotland’s incredible nature before spending the evening in the incredible coastal town of Oban: Seafood capital of Scotland! Your second day takes you through some incredible mountain landscapes at Glencoe. At Fort Wiliam, where the highest mountain in the UK lies - Ben Nevis - you jump aboard the Jacobite Steam Train, to enjoy one of the greatest train journeys. Taste the best seafood at Mallaig and cross over the sea to the Isle of Skye on the ferry for your second night. Departures 01 April 2019 - 13th May 2019 and 32d September 2019 - 15 October 2019 DO NOT include the Jacobite Steam Train. These departures   include Loch Ness Cruise and Urquhart Castle instead. Day three is all about Skye! You’ll get the chance to enjoy Sligachan, unforgettable views of the Black and Red Cuillin Mountains. You’ll then head to explore the Misty Isle and for great photographs of the Old Man of Storr, the Trotternish Peninsula and visit the colourful harbour town of Portree. We’ll spend the second night on Skye. On our fourth day we’ll leave Skye and head straight to one of Scotland’s most photographed castles, Eilean Donan* which you’ll have ample time to explore. You’ll stop at the pretty Lochside village of Drumnadrochit for lunch, before having the option to cruise on Loch Ness, look out for Nessie and visit Urquhart Castle ruin. We’ll then head to the south end of the Loch for our overnight stop in Fort Augustus. 8-Day Orkney Skye and Highlands Tour from Edinburgh

Your journey takes you through the magnificent mountains at Glen Coe where you will hear the terrible massacre of the MacDonald Clan. Then you will jump aboard the Jacobite Steam Train and go on one of the most famous train journeys in the world. You will get to Mallaig for an early dinner (own expense) before taking a short ferry ride (included) to the Isle of Skye, where you will spend your second night. Departures April, 29, September 02 and  September 16 2019  DO NOT include the Jacobite Steam Train. These departures include Loch Ness Cruise and Urquhart Castle instead. Day three is all about Skye. You’ll get the chance to enjoy unforgettable views of the Black and Red Cuillin Mountains and the colourful harbour town of Portree. Take in the spectacular views of the Old Man of Storr, the Kilt Rock waterfall and the beautiful Trotternish Peninsula. Your third night is also on Skye. On our fourth day we’ll leave Skye back to the mainland to visit one of the most iconic castles in Scotland, Eilean Donan Castle (own expense). We’ll continue north through Glen Carron towards Achnasheen. Enjoy the fantastic views of Loch Maree, which has its own monster legend, Muc-sheilche. Enjoy lunch stop at Inverewe Garden (own expense), famous for its sub-tropical plants before stopping at the breath-taking Corrieshalloch Gorge and Rogie Falls. Overnight stop by Loch Ness. Then head further north to Inverness and have an introduction to the capital of the Highlands. You’ll then get the ferry (included) over to Orkney– look out for seals, puffins and even whales if you’re lucky! Another highlight of the day is a visit to the Italian Chapel, a masterpiece built from salvaged materials by Italian prisoners of war. Overnight in Kirkwall You'll be taken to numerous prehistoric wonders, such as Maes Howe (entrance fee not included*) a chambered cairn, a tomb more than 5000 years old and the brooding Stone Circles of Stenness. Visit Skara Brae (entrance fee not included*), one of the best preserved Neolithic group of houses in Europe. Another source of ancient mystery is the Ring of Brodgar! Overnight in Kirkwall. Leaving Orkney begins with an mid morning ferry.There sill be a chance to stop at Dunrobin Castle on the way to Inverness for overnight. The final day starts with a visit to the battle sight of Culloden (entrance fee not included), the Cairngorm Mountains National Park and the picturesque town of Pitlochry as we journey south back to Edinburgh.

Overnight in Stornoway. Day seven takes you to the most northerly point of the Western Isles, the Butt of Lewis, a great spot for bird and seal watching, and with its spectacular cliffs this part of the coastline is a must see! Then it’s time to take your ferry back to mainland, spending the night in Inverness. On your final day we stop by the battlefield of Culloden (entrance fee not included), the site of the defeat of the Jacobite forces. We’ll also travel though the dramatic Cairngorms National Park, visit a whisky distillery (entrance fee not included) and have the chance to explore the picturesque town of Pitlochry before returning back to Edinburgh.

Full Day Your Choice Tour from Kyle of Lochalsh

The Full day 'Your Choice' Tour is something a little different. You might have done some research before you come to the area and you cant find anyone to take you to where you want to go. Well, your searching is over. We can take you on your journey. You might want to see a remote area of the Isle of Skye, then travel to Loch Ness or go to Mallaig via Fort William and the 'Harry Potter' Train, but you have no way of fitting this in on the tight schedule you have on your holiday. 4 Day Highlands and Isle of Skye Tour from Glasgow

Day One: We depart from 266 George Street in Glasgow at 7am and make our way up to Fort William. On this journey we will pass by the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond where we will have a comfort stop at Inveruglas which has fantastic views of the Loch. We will then continue our journey making more photo stops at Loch Tulla and Glencoe whilst hearing about the area's history and points of interest. En the route to Mallaig you will see the breathtaking scenery of Loch Shiel and Loch Nam Uamh. You will also see the Glenfinnan Viaduct and the Monument to Bonnie Prince Charlie. Once at Mallaig, we will have some lunch together in one of the wonderful cafes. A personal favourite for us is the fish and chips which we eat on the pier. We will then catch the ferry to Skye. Once on Skye, we will bring you to your accommodation where you can relax after a very busy day touring. (Suggested accommodation anywhere in Portree). Please note for those taking the Jacobite Steam Train (in the summer season and not included in tour price), you will need to purchase your tickets in advance. You will be dropped off at 10am at Fort William and meet the tour again at Mallaig.  Day Two: We will collect you from your accommodations and will advise the pick up times the day before as not everyone will be at the same place. We will then enjoy a full day touring to Dunvegan Castle (not included and in Summer Timetable only), Talisker Distillery for a quick stop and tasting (not included) and then on to the Fairy Pools and Neist Point. There are several options for lunch on this route but a real favourite is the Oyster Shack by Talisker distillery. We will then all make our way back to your accommodations where the day will end. Day Three: We will check out early of your accommodation (again to be determined based on where you are staying) and continue on a morning tour of Skye which includes photo opportunities at the Old Man of Storr, Lealt Falls, Kilt Rock and the Quiraing. If we have time, we will also continue towards Uig where you can enjoy a wee tipple at the Skye Brewery and a wee trip to the Fairy Glen. We will then return to Portree where you can enjoy some lunch and some free time to shop or just enjoy the quaint streets. We will then make our way to Inverness passing Fort Augustus which has fantastic views of Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal. We will then drop you off at your Inverness accommodations where the day will end. Day Four: Check out of accommodation (to be defined) and enjoy a morning Loch Ness Cruise (not included) which ends at Urquhart Castle which you can enjoy a tour around. We will then make our way back towards Inverness making a stop at the Clava Cairns and Culloden Battlefield where you will enjoy a tour. This is also a great place to have a quick lunch. We will then continue onward to Glasgow making a rest stop at Pitlochry. We should arrive back in Glasgow for around 8pm.
