Full-Day Loch Ness Tour from Aberdeen

Traveling in a small group tour from Aberdeen, we travel North from Aberdeen city, following the main road A96. Hear about the areas history, and see the fine landscapes on route. Our tour starts from Aberdeen Visitor Information Centre.The first stop of the day is Johnstone’s Cashmere, Elgin. Following on, we travel to Loch Ness our main tour stop of the day. There is plenty of time for a tour of the Loch on a Jacobite boat cruise or a visit to Urquhart Castle with some Lunch. There is an entry fee required if you wish to see the Castle or go on the Loch Cruise.After lunch and visit of Loch Ness we travel via Inverness, past Culloden battlefield to the Clava cairns these are a type of Bronze Age circular chambered tomb cairns. Benromach was first established in 1898 and has been through many closures and changes of ownership over the years. The current custodians are the Urquhart family (owners of Gordon & Macphail) who reopened the site in 1998. There are a number of different tours and/or tastings available ranging from 30 mins to 120 mins and priced from £6 to £125 per person.Duration: 1 hour 30 minutesStop At: Glen Moray Distillery, Elgin, Moray, ScotlandThe team at Glen Moray will take you through the process of creating our classic Speyside malt. After this, you can take a whilst to relax with a tasting flight and possibly sample some of their range of expressions.
