61st Street Farmers Market

Chicago

Shop for cheese, meat and eggs from family farms, as well as pies from Pleasant House Pub. The small but quality market also hosts cooking demonstrations, live music and food-sustainability workshops. From May through October it's held outdoors at 61st and Dorchester Sts; from November through April it moves indoors into the Experimental Station building at 6100 S Blackstone Ave.

Be sure and stop into Build Coffee, which is also on-site.
