Bridge Books

Johannesburg

An independently owned, mostly African literature bookstore, Bridge Books has become a literary meeting place for Jo'burg's top local authors. The books are carefully curated and artfully displayed, and the shop holds regular book launches and storytelling events (including lots of children's events).

In addition to this newer shop on Fox St in Maboneng, there is another location at 95 Commissioner St, near Gandhi Square.
