Koto Ramen, inside restaurant

Koto Ramen

Oltrarno

Run by the same team as Santa Croce's hugely successful Koto Ramen, this minimalist Asian bolthole cooks up flavourful bowls of traditional pork bone broth and noodles, peppered with various toppings (bean sprouts, tofu, nori seaweed, shiitake mushrooms et al) and eaten around simple wooden bench-style tables. For extra spice, order an extra dash of fiery tare piccante (Japanese hot sauce).

Vegetarians are well catered for.
