Náplavka Farmers Market

Prague

Stretching along the embankment from Trojická to Výtoň, this weekly market makes the most of its riverside setting with live music and outdoor tables scattered among stalls selling freshly baked bread, organic locally grown vegetables, homemade cakes and pastries, wild mushrooms (in season), herbs, flowers, wild honey, hot food, Czech cider, coffee and a range of arts and crafts.

The Náplavka is also used for other events and is the location of several summer barge bars as well as arches fronted by the largest opening circular glass windows in the world. When there's nothing going on, the embankment returns to the swans and gulls that call the Vltava home, and the odd jogger.
