When Applebee’s stuffs its wall full of license plates, it’s tacky. When Mrs Mac’s does it, it’s homey. Probably because the service is warm and personable, and the breakfasts are delicious. Plus the food packs in the locals, tourists, their dogs and pretty much everyone else on the island (plus, admittedly, a fair few calories, but that’s why it tastes good).
