Welcome to Anda
Dubbed the 'cradle of Boholano civilisation' for its significant prehistoric sites, the Anda peninsula on the southeast corner of Bohol still seems to belong to a forgotten time. From Anda town, resort hotels are strung along a glorious 3km stretch of coastline to the west which is dotted with white-sand cove beaches. Peace and privacy are the order of the day; if you like to be surrounded by activity, you might find Anda a little too chilled.
Anda town's beach is wide and wonderful but can fill up with day trippers. Quieter coves can be found along the coastline at most resorts.
