The biggest bounce house in the world, a gigantic 10,000-sq ft leviathan, is travelling across the USA, hosting events open to the public at a range of different locations.
Called, “The Big Bounce America”, the project began with the creation of a unique bounce house that features numerous zones, each with its own theme and activity-based entertainment. Working alongside the biggest manufacturer of inflatable structures in the US, the team created an experience that includes obstacle courses, foam pits, giant slides and basketball hoops, as well as inflatable forests, boats and a gorilla that is taller than an apartment block.
Another unique aspect of the project is the fact that the bounce house is on the move across the country, having already hosted events in locations such as Grand Rapids, Michigan and Colorado Springs. The next few months will see the Big Bounce America team travelling to states that include Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Texas and Florida.
Each event sees the resident DJ performing from a circular stage at the centre of the big bounce structure itself, while each of the hour-long sessions is divided into different age groups. Some events are hosted as family sessions for parents and carers along with children under 7, while others accommodate older ages.
The organisers of the event describe it as a “bounce party”, where guests should expect “games, confetti blasts, t-shirts giveaways, and beach balls”. Selected events are hosted in conjunction with charity partners, while the project also runs a system that allows volunteers to exchange their time for tickets to the experience.
More information on Big Bounce America events, as well as a link to suggest potential cities, is available on the official website.
