Holiday rental website, HomeAway has just revealed its Eiffel Tower apartment for the opening night of the UEFA EURO 2016. Beyond the jaw-dropping view over the city, the apartment features a modern living area, an urban greenhouse and two bedrooms furnished by Italian design house, Lago.

The popup apartment will host the winners of HomeAway’s recent contest, the “Eiffel Tower All Yours”, and was designed by Benoit Leleu. The French designer had just 48-hours to transform an empty conference room into the living space. The contest asked the question: “What would you do if the HomeAway Eiffel Tower Apartment was all yours for a night?” Three lucky winners were chosen from over 150,000 entries. The winners – from the UK, U.S. and France – each get a night in the apartment during the football, along with five of their friends. They’ll be treated to an evening of French activities and cuisine.

“We had a big idea to create a HomeAway where no one would believe possible, and now the day is here to make the ‘Eiffel Tower All Yours,” said Mariano Dima, Chief Marketing Officer for HomeAway. You don’t have to be a winner to experience the apartment however, HomeAway are giving away 500 free tickets each day during the football so that tourists can visit the space. The tickets come with the added bonus of skipping the long queues up to the top of the tower. Those interested in visiting can book their tour at the HomeAway booth at the UEFA EURO 2016 Fan Zone on the Champs de Mars, in front of the Eiffel Tower or go to www.homeaway.com.
