Best hotels and hostels in Serifos

  • Lodging in Livadi

Up above Ramos Beach, this inviting complex offers 11 simple but well-equipped one- and two-bedroom apartments. The handsome couple who run it put on a delicious breakfast spread including homemade jams, and olives and capers from their own garden. It's a steep 1km walk southwest of town, above Ramos Beach; best with your own wheels. The wi-fi is terrible, though.

    Studios Niovi

On the furthest eastern curve of Livadi’s bay, about a 15-minute walk from the centre, these immaculate apartments look over the broad expanse of the bay, bustling Livadi, towering Hora and the mountains beyond. The owner is a gem and makes a super breakfast spread. Good low-season rates.

    Coco-Mat Eco Residences

Overlooking Vagia beach, this cluster of miners' houses has been turned into a trendy if somewhat overpriced hotel. Its split-level residences (with bedrooms on the cooler level) come with coarse whitewashed walls, heavy wooden beams, sea views, super-comfy Coco-Mat beds and kitchens, with a restaurant on-site serving fusion dishes.

    Coralli Camping & Bungalows

Right on Livadakia Beach, this well-equipped eucalyptus-shaded campground also has ‘bungalows’ (en-suite rooms) with mountain or sea views. The complex includes a pool, bar, restaurant, minimarket, kitchen and barbecue. They also have self-catering apartments nearby.
