Must-see hotels in Broome & The Kimberley

  • Ellenbrae Station

  • Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park

    Popular with fishers, this shady, laid-back park 250km from Port Hedland backs onto a beautiful white-sand beach. Turtles nest from November to March.

  • Imintji Campground

    Community-run refurbished campground with shady sites and modern facilities, 500m west of the community store.

  • Gnylmarung Retreat

    This small, low-key community on a pristine sound near Middle Lagoon offers a limited number of secluded camp sites and is popular with fishers.

  • Kimberley Hotel

  • Barred Creek

    A quieter alternative to the often noisy Cable Beach caravan parks, Tarangau has pleasant, grassy sites 1km from the beach.

    Simple bush camps (three-night maximum stay) on the point at the edge of a nature reserve. It's 45km from Cape Leveque Rd.
