Welcome to Porrentruy
Fine old buildings line the main street, Grand Rue, set against the backdrop of the town's bulky and impressive 13th-century chateau, which unfortunately, isn't open to the public.
There aren't a lot of 'sights' here, but rather, an overall vibe that's nothing short of the embodiment of loveliness. Spend a quiet night here if you like, but most will be satisfied by a few hours wandering the sweet cobblestone streets or dining al fresco in the sunshine, inhaling deeply the fresh Jura air.
If you've come this far, consider combining your trip with a visit to neighbouring St Ursanne.
