Ristorante La Rocca

Assisi

Family-run Ristorante La Rocca serves a full lineup of Umbrian classics at bargain prices. The large interior dining room is a bit sterile and formal (and noisy when packed with fellow diners), but both the food and the atmosphere are pure bliss if you can snag a spot on the breezy upstairs terrace.

It's just inside the town walls on Assisi's northeastern edge, a stone's throw from the Porta dei Cappuccini.
