Zagorje

This venture by two local chefs experiments with regional cuisine using local ingredients – think foie-gras-filled puff pastry and pork belly rolled in pumpkin seeds. The downstairs covered terrace, overlooking grassy expanses and the Old Town ramparts, is lovely on warm days. The weekday gableci (traditional lunches; served till 3pm) are excellent value.
