Governors

Top choice in Suva

Housed in a converted colonial bungalow that was once home to Ratu Sir Laulu Sukuna, Governors is the newest fashionable eating place on the block. You can see why: great food (Italian and Thai notes on a Fijian base) plus great decor, with vintage travel posters and luggage. Weekend brunch is incredibly popular, as is the live weekend evening music.

If you've got space for dessert, we counted six (!) different types of cheesecake, so plan for a return visit.
