An awesome, welcoming spot filled with local beer buffs. With its concrete floor, exposed ducts and hodgepodge of tables, the taproom mightn't look like much, but when the knowledgeable bartenders fill your flight of glasses with the brewery's gose, saison and other suds – all brewed using 100% solar power – you might as well give in to being here all afternoon.
Board games provide entertainment, and dogs are usually romping around. There’s no food, but local food trucks are often parked nearby, or BYO picnic. Free tours take place on Saturdays at noon, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm; no reservations needed.
Atlas isn't easy to reach by public transportation; it's in the Ivy City neighborhood, a couple of miles northeast of Union Station. Most visitors use Uber or Lyft.
