World of Insects

Zagorje

This entomological collection, housed in the classicist Hercer Palace, comprises nearly 4500 exhibits of the bug world, including 1000 different insect species. It's well set out to spark a child's interest in the natural world, with beautifully displayed examples of insect nests, habitats and reproductive habits. There's little in the way of English explanations but audioguides are available.
