Along with recycled clothing and an interesting assortment of mid-century homewares, it also tailors 'bespoke retro' clothes using vintage-style prints; think flirty rockabilly frocks and extremely loud men's shirts.

    Melin Tregwynt

Since 1912 the same family has run this traditional woollen mill, which churns out some of Wales' best blankets, cushions and upholstery fabrics. New designs have brought the traditional weaves bang up to date and the full range includes clothing and bags, all of which are on display in the mill shop. You can watch the looms and giant waterwheel in action on weekdays and there's also a small cafe on site. The mill is reached by narrow country lanes, 5 miles southwest of Goodwick, but it's very well signposted. You'll know you're here when you see the giant yarn and knitting-needle sculpture.
