Dunblane, 5 miles northwest of Stirling, is a pretty town with a notable cathedral. It's difficult not to remember the horrific massacre that took place in the primary school in 1996, but happier headlines have come the town's way with the success of Dunblane-born tennis star Andy Murray – a gold-painted letterbox at the north end of the High St commemorates his 2012 Olympic gold medal.
