Camping Ilha de Tavira

The Algarve

The island's camping ground has tents (you can't bring your own) set up on the sand among the trees. It's off-limits to camper vans and caravans as there's no vehicle access. Tents sleep up to six people; some have kitchenettes. Bring plenty of insect repellent. Kids pay half price. At the height of summer, there's a four-night minimum stay.
