Right on the cusp of the Old Town, the Eden isn't quite as paradisaical as its name suggests, but it's actually one of the better-value midrange options in Kashgar. The quiet – if rather aged – rooms, decent air-con and English-speaking staff all add up to be relatively impressive, and there’s an excellent attached Turkish restaurant. Wi-fi was not working in 2016.
