Peponi

Northeastern Tanzania

This place has a lovely dining-bar-lounge area, shady beachfront camping, breezy bungalows set in expansive, palm-studded grounds, a small pool, a kite-surfing centre, and a dhow for snorkelling excursions. The overall vibe is relaxed, and it's especially recommended for campers and families.

Peponi is about 20km north of Pangani and 30km south of Tanga. Buses running along the Tanga–Pangani road will drop you at the gate.
