Museum Kitzbühel

Tyrol

This museum traces Kitzbühel’s heritage from its Bronze Age mining beginnings to the present day. The big emphasis is on winter sports, and the permanent collection pays tribute to home-grown legends including ski racing champ Toni Sailer and winter landscape painter Alfons Walde. Head up to the roof terrace for far-reaching views over the Altstadt to the peaks beyond.
