Waterbiscuit

Top choice in Sliema, St Julian’s & Paceville

Part of the Intercontinental Hotel on the edge of Paceville, Waterbiscuit is one of Malta's best dining experiences. Outside is bustling and energetic, but the restaurant's cool interior is a soothing haven. Lunch is a more informal occasion with a brioche beef burger, while dinner's more refined dishes include seabream with a squid-ink purée, squid beignet and wild fennel.

The wine list is also one of Malta's best, and from 5.30pm to 8pm, Waterbiscuit's bar presents 'Gin O'Clock' with happy-hour cocktails.
