La Casa del Camino

Laguna Beach

A bargain for downtown Laguna, this 1929 Spanish-style hotel has 36 rooms and the awesome Rooftop Lounge bar. No two rooms are the same; most have carved headboards and dark hardwood furniture. Our favorite rooms, though, are the Casa Surf Suites featuring hip design by local surf-gear companies.

It's also got one of the best-deal resort fees in town: $16 covers parking, breakfast, wi-fi, setup of beach chairs, umbrellas and such, and access to a nearby gym.
