Byamba's Family Homestay

Top choice in The Gobi

Byamba Tseyen, who manages the nearby tree nursery, also opens up her family compound to guests. Accommodation is inside one of two guest gers located in her yard. Both are clean, comfortable and come with a warm welcome and tasty home-cooked meals. As part of the package, guests are given a tree sapling to plant in the nursery.

There's no shower on-site, and the toilet is in an outhouse, but it's a Western seat. To get here, walk west along Kheltsin Gudamj, an extension of the town's main street, and look for the house number (A 6-13) on your right.
