Welcome to West End
Curled around two small turquoise bays and laced with coconut palms, West End is a chilled-out world apart where independent travelers – rather than package tourists – mingle, lounge, swim, party and, of course, go diving. Its quirky main street is lined with sea-facing restaurants, boutiques selling sarongs and jewelry, reggae bars and tons of dive schools. Everything you need is within walking distance.
Even though many accommodations and eating options are geared toward the midrange market, you'll find some great budget places here, plus there's a fun community of travelers to socialize with.
